Directory Membership Acknowledgment

By submitting or maintaining a listing in the Guild directory,

I acknowledge and agree that:

1. I am an independent contractor/business, not an employee, agent, or representative of the Filmmakers Guild (d/b/a Chattanooga Filmmakers Guild);

2. My listing—whether included as a paid membership benefit or paid advertisement—does not constitute endorsement, referral, or vetting by the Guild;

3. I am solely responsible for my marketing, contracts, compliance, taxes, and insurance;

4. I will not present myself as acting on behalf of the Guild in any client work sourced through the directory; and

5. I will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Guild from claims arising out of my services, except to the extent caused by the Guild’s own gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Officer & Volunteer Addendum

If I am a Guild officer or volunteer, I understand that any services I offer through the directory are outside my Guild duties and are performed in my personal capacity only. I will not use my Guild title, resources, or authority to imply Guild sponsorship or supervision of my private work. I will disclose potential conflicts of interest and follow Guild policies separating official activities from private engagements.
